義式冰淇淋 GELATO was founded in 1991. They are a local small business located right in front of the National Museum of Natural Science, and it is the oldest gelato ice cream store in the city. They are dedicated to making the highest quality and minimally processed organic gelato and side/sweet products.
Due to the change with the times and new competitors, the store needs more than traditional take out menus and business cards to maintain and increase their market. The choice of color palette of the website is based on the existing branding and interior design of the store. We tried to attract new customers by efficiently displaying the delicious and exotic flavors in images and text! We also have come up with an online order system for delivery and personalized gift options to give consumers freedom to customize their gift boxes.
Lastly, we have learned from many of our competitors such as Yogurtland that using the “weight” system to charge for each cup of gelato is the fairest way for both consumer and owner, so they do not charge people the same for different amounts. In the meantime, they could give customers points based on the totals of their purchases. This point system could encourage customers to keep coming back.
